About the Photographer
Lanna Photography is located in historic Richmond, Virginia. Harold Lanna has been taking photographs since his dad gave him his first camera, a Kodak Brownie, as a child. In recent years, he has had the privilege to shoot in locations around the world. Some of these locations include Botswana, Zambia, Greece, Galapagos, Tanzania, Iceland, Croatia, Spain, Australia and China among others. Underwater locations have included the Great Barrier Reef, Galapagos Islands, the Philippines and the Caribbean. He has had his photographs in magazines such as Virginia Wildlife and has won several awards including the Philip Luce Award for B&W digital projection of the year, Bernard Howell for best in show and W.A. Yoder award for best digital color image. Served as President of the Camera Club of Richmond for 2015, 2016 and 2022.
